“ I actually belong to the vegetarian and vegan groups - and consider myself a vegan.. It was wonderful to be in a restaurant with a group of people who will not challenge my choices for eating and lifestyle, and where I do not need to read the fine print of each and every dish on the menu to be sure I am not consuming a type of food which I have chosen not to consume. This was my first 'event' .. an 'intimate' dinner of 4. Maynard is so very friendly and positively effervescent and all were just delightful. I am only sorry it took me so long to finally make it to a meetup.. I am sold and will be at as many meetups as possilbe! This was a very comfortable, friendly and enjoyable experience! ”
